Precious Swain is a mother, a wife, a minister, and a business woman. The founder of New Visions Ministries of Florida, Inc and the Wailing Women Prayer Group. The author of the “Who Says A Princess Can’t Come From the Ghetto?” series. Owner of Imprecious Entertainment Services, Swain Girl Media and franchisee with One Stop Taxes.
What does "SheHustles" mean to you?
“SheHustles” means exactly what it says in my eyes…She not only pushes her business to be profitable but she pushes herself to take classes, to live a healthy lifestyle, and to stay busy, busy, busy.
Why did you decide to start your own business?
I am the child of entrepreneurial parents and grandparents so that is what I know, we were raised in business. I knew it was the only way I would be able to make my own schedule and determine my own growth.
Where do you see our business in 5 years?
In the next five years I plan to have at least four more books out, I expect my four daughter to have stepped into the daily operations of Swain Girl Media, and to be spending the majority of my time motivationally speaking nationally.
How do you overcome rejection?
Rejection is part of reality, I deal with it like I deal with being accepted. I keep it pushing forward. What God has for me is for me …if it doesn’t fall in line or if someone rejects me I look at it as being protected from something that wasn’t good for me.
How do you stay motivated and what keeps you going?
My family and my clients are what keep me going, the needs and wants of my family being able to spend the time with them that I feel they deserve keeps me motivated to maintain my business. The desire to help my clients ahead of the game, in addition to the fact that I have had my clients on average four plus years is also a motivator that keeps me going.
How do you juggle motherhood with running a business?
When my children were growing up and still lived at home I involved them. Involving them was much easier than trying to juggle them. I scheduled my clients around the kids needs and not the kids needs around the clients. So most of the sessions were during normal school hours and evenings except for during football season because I had to be at both the practices and the games. I also had a mindset of time management vs juggling because if i looked at it like juggling then it would stress me.
What is your key to success?
Prayer is my key to success.

With Swain Girl Media I am a direct video content provider with Streaming TV providers and assist independent film makers in releasing their product to the masses, assist independent artist in distributing their music/ videos and assist authors in self publishing. With Imprecious Ent. Services I consult business from the planning stage to the opening of the doors. Also consulting independent artist on copyright, PRO, distribution, and branding.
What is the key thing that you want people to know about you?
I am an overcomer of many obstacles but through it all I made it.
What has been some of your biggest successes/acheivements?
Maintaining my business while raising seven kids is an achievement for me. I also have won the following awards in our local area “Go Hard 352” awards: Best Manager – 2012, Best female promoter – 2013 and Best Author 2014.

Believe in yourself. Believe in your product or service. Trust the process.
